Pair of vintage bathroom sconces, designed by Sigvard Bernadotte in the 1960s. They are made of ceramic with a white glaze, and white opaline glass lamp shades.
Prince Sigvard Bernadotte was the son of king Gustaf VI Adolf of Sweden. He is still one of Sweden's most well known designers, known as Designprinsen ("The Design Prince"). He designed a high number of items, many of which are now in major museums.
There is a small chip in the front of one of the ceramic bases, and around the screw holes.
They are made for hardwiring and come with terminal blocks attached so they are ready connect.
