"THE OUTSIDERS" 30th Anniversary collector's edition score CD - music composed by Carmine Coppola
The expanded soundtrack CD to "THE OUTSIDERS", a film adaptation of the best-selling young adult novel of the same title written by S.E. Hinton, depicted the conflict between two rival teenage street gangs, 'Greasers' the poorer and 'Socs' the richer, set in Oklahoma 1960s. The film starred C. Thomas Howell, Matt Dillon, Diane Lane, Ralph Macchio, Tom Cruise, Patrick Swayze, Rob Lowe, Emilio Estevez and Leif Garrett, directed by Francis Coppola. Original music by Carmine Coppola, the song 'Stay Gold' lyrics and performed by Stevie Wonder, composed by Carmine Coppola (the album contains alternate version of 'Stay Gold' performed by Bill Hughes).
The CD released from Music Box records France in 2013, disc number MBR-024 in limited numbers of 1000 copies, sold out years ago. 17 tracks, 56 minutes of music, about 20 minutes longer than original Silva Screen label release. The CD is brand new, still sealed in the paper sleeve and the shrinkwrap. It has NO cut-out marks.
