Hardcover, no dust jacket, undated but believed to be circa 1900. 8vo with red boards, pictorial front cover and spine, endpaper drawings, all edge gilt, 483 pages including the Index. This appears to be an ex-library copy with the only markings being a discard stamp and a number, both on the back endpapers. It also has an ex-libris stamping inside the front cover and a handwritten poem on the back of the half title page. Overall in good + condition with no writing in the text, a single page with a damaged corner, and a soiled cover.
