" A rare and beautifully preserved complete three-piece 1930s Art Deco lighting suite, comprising a three-clam shell wings shade ceiling pendant / plafonnier together with its matching pair of wall sconces."
The suite features five substantial moulded salmon-pink glass shades, all sharing the same distinctive radiating fan / clam-shell design with deeply moulded horizontal ribs and raised geometric detailing. When illuminated, the glass produces a particularly attractive warm amber-pink glow which strongly accentuates the Art Deco relief.

The ceiling pendant comprises three matching glass shades arranged radially within its original three-point metal supporting saddle frame, creating an impressive circular plafonnier approximately 36 cm in diameter. It retains its decorative central column, three-chain suspension, ceiling canopy and brass B22 bayonet-fit bulb holder.
The matching pair of wall sconces employ the same moulded salmon-pink glass, supported within curved polished/chrome-finished metal saddle frames with rear reflector plates and individual bulb holders.
Of particular collector interest is the survival of the fittings as a coordinated period suite. The ceiling pendant and two sconces provide a complete matching lighting arrangement rather than separately assembled period pieces — ideal for an Art Deco interior, period property, collector, interior designer, boutique hotel or restoration project.

Condition & Electrical:
The suite presents extremely well, with age-consistent surface character and patination to the metal fittings. Detailed photographs document the glass, frames, suspension, rear construction and electrical components.
All three fittings have been professionally wired, earthed and tested and are in full working order. The wall sconces have independent in-line switches and may alternatively be incorporated into an appropriate fixed installation by a suitably qualified installer.
