A charming oil on canvas by George Willis Pryce (1866–1949), depicting a peaceful rural lane winding between dramatic rocky outcrops and mature trees.

The composition leads the eye along the sunlit country road towards distant trees, with substantial rock formations creating depth and character on either side. Pryce is particularly associated with atmospheric British landscape subjects, and this attractive example has a traditional countryside character.

Presented in an impressive ornate gilt frame, which complements the painting beautifully.
