4.8SP uses advanced DSP technology, from 24 bit, 48kHz delta-sigma A/D converter and 128 times oversampling. Digital processing includes: gain, polarity switching, parametric EQ shelf filter, time delay, crossover function, compression, limiting and signal routing, all processed by a pair of 120MHz high performance DSP processors. The D/A converter uses a 24-bit delta-sigma converter with 128 times oversampling. All inputs and outputs use balanced XLR connectors to prevent RF interference. You can adjust gain, delay or 6-band EQ for each input channel (each section can be selected as parametric or Hi/Lo Shelf). Signals can be routed within the DSP prior to the crossover point, allowing signals from two or more input channels to be routed.

After mixing, it is routed to the output channel. On the output channel, you can use 4-band EQ (each section can be selected as parametric or high/low shelf), delay, gain, invert or compressor and other modules, with such powerful DSP processing function, but only 1U height, and all audio interfaces use standard XLR interfaces.

The 4.8SP can store up to 30 presets. The preset file adopts the "snapshot" method to completely store all the control data of all the current channels.
