A truly beautiful vintage Royal Dux Bohemia porcelain figurine, model 186, depicting an elegantly dressed young flower girl carrying two baskets overflowing with colourful flowers.
Standing approximately 26 cm tall, this is a wonderfully decorative Royal Dux figure and, importantly, an exceptionally well-preserved example.
The lady wears a striking deep cobalt-blue dress with a white off-the-shoulder collar and wide-brimmed bonnet. Delicate gilt detailing appears around the dress, shoes and other elements, while her softly painted features give the figure a particularly elegant appearance.
She carries two flower baskets containing an impressive profusion of individually applied porcelain flowers and foliage, with pink, yellow and pale blue flowers set amongst delicate green leaves.
It is this extremely intricate applied decoration that makes the remarkable condition of this particular example especially noteworthy.
The underside carries the characteristic applied pink Royal Dux triangle, together with the printed Royal Dux Czechoslovakia mark and the incised model number 186. Additional impressed and painted factory/decorator marks are also present.
A superb display piece for a Royal Dux or European porcelain collection.

Exceptional vintage condition – just one small step away from immaculate.
This really is a remarkably well-preserved example.
The main figure is exceptionally clean, with the beautiful cobalt-blue glaze, white porcelain, painted features and gilt detailing all presenting superbly.
Most impressive is the survival of the extensive and extremely delicate applied floral and foliage decoration within both baskets, which remains remarkably intact.
Under extremely close inspection there are a couple of minute imperfections to the delicate foliage within the baskets. These are incredibly minor, difficult to see with the naked eye and are mentioned purely in the interests of complete and accurate description.
There are no significant chips, cracks or repairs noted.
There is only the slightest evidence of age or previous display.
Overall, the figurine presents extremely close to immaculate, and its outstanding condition is very much one of the strengths of this particular example.
