Imperial Jingdezhen Legends Of West Lake 6 Porcelain Collector Plates Boxed
The six porcelain plates present very well with no chips or cracks apparent from the photographs. Some minor signs of age/storage may be present. Original individual boxes show some age-related wear, marking and discolouration.
Set of six Imperial Jingdezhen Porcelain collector plates from the Legends of West Lake series, featuring artwork by Jiang Xue-Bing.
The set comprises Lady Silkworm, Laurel Peak, Rising Sun Terrace, The Apricot Fairy, Bright Pearl and Thread of Sky. Each plate features a colourful traditional Chinese narrative scene with decorative blue border and Chinese inscriptions.
All six retain their individual presentation boxes. Reverse marked ©1990 Imperial Jingdezhen Porcelain and carries the warning that the precious-metal pigments may be toxic and the plates must not be used for eating.
