The National Jamboree for the Scouting America (Boy Scouts of America) was held at the Summit Bechtel Reserve in Mt. Hope, West Virginia from July 22 - July 31 2026. Although smaller than previous jamborees, it was an awesome experience and makes me very hopeful for future jamborees, and all of scouting. 

This is the official jamboree Chem Stem Quest Purple Patch. I'm not sure if this was earned by scouts, or traded by staff (I got it by trading with staff). S on gnome hat maybe stands for staff?


At the Scouting America 2026 National Jamboree, STEM Quest was a massive highlight at the Summit Bechtel Reserve in West Virginia. The Chemistry and Engineering merit badge tents were incredibly popular, with counselors assisting hundreds of Scouts in hands-on science experiments. The Chemistry Quest featured: Hands-on testing: Participants completed experiments and tests to fulfill the requirements for the Chemistry Merit Badge. Special experiments: Dr. Nitro’s Liquid Nitrogen Experiments served as a daily crowd-favorite demonstration in the STEM center.
