The lid of this lovely Halcyon Days enamel box reads “Happiness is like a
butterfly – the more you chase it, the more it will elude you. But if
you turn your attention to other things it comes and softly sits on your
shoulder.” The quote is ringed with flowers, butterflies, and vines.
Inside the hinged lid is a black and white butterfly on flowers. The
sides of the box carry the same multi-color flowers and flutterbys.
Measurements: approx 2” wide x 1-3/4” wide (including the clasp and hinge) x 1” thick.
Signature:
signed on the underside with the company name and Bilston &
Battersea Enamels Revival. It also carries the royal warrant.
