This is an original document, dated 1750, Lunenburg, Mass;, where all the freeholders are called to assemble at the meeting house...to vote to change roadways, keeping the grammar school and paying the schoolmaster...vote on how to sell pews in the new meeting house, payment for repairs to the Great Bridge and funds to complete the new meeting house...signed at bottom by Josiah Dodge, Solomon Steward, Benjamin Goodridge. Signed by Ezekiel Wyman; attesting to the fact that he served the warrant.

Josiah Dodge II (often styled as Junior) was a prominent colonial tanner, farmer, and local official who relocated his family from Wenham to Lunenburg, Massachusetts in 1743. While local civic records primarily refer to him as Lieutenant, he is an anchor figure in a generational military line.

He actively served on various Lunenburg town committees. Notably, town records indicate he and Benjamin Goodrich were paid nine pounds for their labor in overseeing construction of the town's New Meetinghouse.

Solomon Steward Sr. (1698–1758) was a notable early settler of Lunenburg, Massachusetts, and the patriarch of a prominent colonial family whose children helped pioneer surrounding towns like Fitchburg and areas of Maine.

Benjamin Goodridge (1701-1773)was born in Newbury, New England, came early into Lunenburg and had a Principal share in its Publick Business. He was for many Years Capt. of one of the military Companies & rec'd under Governor Bernard a commission for the Peace in the Year 1769.

Ezekiel Wyman (1712–1795) was an early settler and prominent community figure in Lunenburg, Massachusetts. Born in Woburn, Massachusetts, on July 8, 1712, he moved his family to Worcester County, where he helped establish the Wyman lineage in Lunenburg.
