A hand‑wound set of ’59 Vintage Style Stratocaster pickups built for players who want true early‑vintage clarity, brightness and classic Strat “quack.” All three pickups share the same polarity and winding direction, just like original 1950s units, giving you the hollow, scooped tones in positions 2 and 4.
Hand‑wound on the Isle of Wight using:
42 AWG Heavy Formvar wire
Vulcanised fibre flatwork (grey bottom, black top)
Staggered Alnico V pole pieces with a light bevel
Vintage cloth push‑back leads
Each pickup is wax‑potted to reduce microphonics and deliver stable performance.
These ’59 style pickups are ideal for early Rock & Roll, Rockabilly, Country, Surf and Vintage Blues. Expect bright attack, clear note separation, warm lows and authentic vintage chime.
Bridge: 5.9kΩ / approx. 2.6H / North Up
Middle: 5.9kΩ / approx. 2.6H / North Up
Neck: 5.9kΩ / approx. 2.6H / North Up
Cream pickup covers included.
All flatwork is cut, assembled, charged and wound by hand in the UK.
