About This Item

Kinko-ryu shakuhachi (bamboo flute) with 2-shaku tubing, approximately 61cm in length, known for its warm bass resonance. Crafted by Takeharu with signature square seal stamp and single silver band joint; features water buffalo horn mouthpiece and smartly tapered end. Tube body shows minor early-stage hairline cracks near the lower end (1-3cm each, barely catching on fingernails); silver joint band is secure with smooth insertion and removal.
