A rare vintage sterling silver ring by celebrated Mexican artist and designer Sergio Bustamante, dating to the early 1980s.

This substantial statement band features Bustamante’s distinctive celestial imagery, with sculptural moon faces surrounding the wide sterling silver band. The ring has the wonderful hand-worked character and patina expected of an original vintage piece.

What makes this example particularly special is its documented provenance. The ring is signed by the artist, stamped 925, and comes with confirmation/certification from Sergio Bustamante’s studio that this is a band created by the artist. The design is vintage and has since been discontinued.
