Offered here is an original 1887 Freight Bill from the Union Pacific Railway for a delivery from Denver, Colorado to the Platte River Station in South Park, Colorado. Measures 8.50 x 6.0. Goods were delivered to Charles A. Hall and included fence staples and wire. Charles A. Hall was the son of Charles L. Hall. Charles Senior founded the Salt Works Ranch near Antero Junction in the 1860's. Today the Salt Works Ranch is the longest running cow/calf operation in Colorado. Charles Jr. ran the ranch for his dad in the 1880's into the 1890's whiles Charles Sr. was off on mining ventures that included founding Goldfield, Arizona. Great display piece of South Park Railroad history. Thanks for looking!
