A rare vintage articulated collar necklace dating from the 1970s–1980s, created in the distinctive Modernist and Brutalist style that defined European designer costume jewelry of the era.
The necklace features a rigid collar (torque) with a suspended articulated chain composed of stylized dancing figures. Graceful ballerinas in flowing skirts alternate with acrobats, each linked hand-to-hand and foot-to-foot to create a fluid, animated garland that moves beautifully with the wearer.
