This "variation" card was cut from a commemorative Shaquille O'Neal Hoops/Skybox uncut sheet. It is about 1/8" taller and wider than a regular card, and printed on regular card stock. Since the sheet was rolled, the individual cards I cut from it have a curl to them, but they store and display flat as you can see from the pics.

The sheet had a total of 22 different cards from the early years of Shaq cards from various Skybox and Hoops sets including key rookie cards. What's cool about these is that they are numbered differently on the card backs and have foil differences on the front, so they would make a great variation to complement the standard version. The photos are the same but the foil finishes or change in color of the graphics as well as the card numbering on the back make them distinctive from the base card version. And the size, of course. But they will be shipped in an oversize penny sleeve and standard sized toploader, as shown in the pics.

Please check out my other auctions as I am breaking up a full set of 22 cards at the initial time of listing, including Shaq Talk inserts, Center Stage inserts, Magic's All Rookie Team, Draft Pick card, Big Numbers inserts, and other cards that show his 92-93 rookie card and subset cards from Hoops and Skybox.

Some basic facts about the proof cards I sell are as follows:

1) Unless otherwise stated, the backs are complete.

2) For most of them, the fronts are complete, although some foil may be missing. Please see pics for further details.

3) If any corresponding finished versions of the cards contain autographs, game-used items, or serial numbering, the proofs DO NOT have any of these attributes, as they are indeed just proofs and not the finished product.

4) If it's a single card, it is typically 1/8" to 1/4" taller and wider than a standard card in order to differentiate it from a pack-inserted version. But not always.

5) If it's a 2-card uncut panel, then it's obvious that it wasn't pack inserted, but even these are typically individually larger than a standard card.

6) Some of the proofs have extra "dead stock" (that was removed for the final version of the card), color bars, etc.

7) Proof cards were not meant to be released onto the secondary market. As such, they aren't always in mint condition. Some may have surface scratches, but other than that, they are usually nm.
