This 5 litre glass demijohn is designed for home brewing, fermentation and storage of wines, beers and meads. Made from durable clear glass, it allows you to keep an eye on your brew as it develops. The bottle includes a sturdy carry handle and a yellow protective basket around the base for added support. It is suitable for both fermenting and storing finished drinks, helping to maintain quality and flavour when sealed correctly.

WHAT'S IN THE BOX
Depending on the option selected, you will receive the demijohn on its own or with a rubber bung and airlock. The screw top cap and protective basket are included with the demijohn.
This demijohn is designed to support a smooth and practical brewing process, from fermentation through to storage. The airtight seal helps preserve the drink by reducing exposure to oxidation and contamination. When using the bung and airlock setup, gases produced during fermentation can escape through the water-filled airlock while the vessel remains protected from unwanted microorganisms.
Handle glass with care at all times. Do not subject the demijohn to excessive thermal shock, as a large temperature difference may damage the glass. It is recommended to wash the glass in lukewarm water with suitable disinfectants before use. Do not rely solely on the handle for transport, especially when the container is full.
