For sale is a Post WW2 The Gurkha Museum Booklet.

This is in good condition. The introduction states;

“Having had the privilege of having Gurkhas under my command in war and in peace I know something of their superb military qualities, and having had the honour of being Colonel of The 6th Queen Elizabeth's Own Gurkha Rifles I have had personal experience of their good comradeship. These associations have made me all the more aware of the need to preserve for all time and for all to see the record in terms of pictures, medals and other exhibits, of the outstanding contribution they have made to the success of British arms over the past 150 years.

I count it a great honour to be Patron of the Gurkha Museum which will tell the enthralling story of their achievements, and make their great history come to life for the interest and knowledge of present and future generations.

A great debt of gratitude is due to all those who have worked so hard and so successfully in the setting up of The Gurkha Museum.”
