Whitbread – 3 x novelty miniature metal Tankard charm (?) 1960s.
Three good examples of tiny (just over ½”) metal model sof the Whitbread Tankard – the emblem of Whibread’s Tankard beer that I assume were given free in a pub with the purchase of a pint of the beer sometime in the 1960s. They could be used as a charm or put on a keyring. Or – I guess in most cases they were taken home and put in the kitchen drawer and kicked around for decades – with no discernible use or reason to throw them out. Sometimes they turn up with some corrosion but these are in good clean condition.
