A very rare and sought after Victorian Pattern E fuze, of the Armstrong design. These don't appear very often, and are usually missing pieces when they do. Some pitting to the external surfaces, but otherwise complete, fully strippable, with a matching serial number of 347, and Royal Laborotories markings to the base. There is also a date stamp to the base of "1/69" (January 1869).
