These are two advertising inserts from magazines that date, I think, to the 1910s.  One is for Sunlight Soap and one is for Lux Soap Flakes.  Both are artist drawn and feature black ladies.  One has the artist name of Hassall and I believe both are by the same artist.  Interesting pieces of advertising or social history.  The Lux item measures 10.4cm x 16.5cm and the Sunlight item measures 17.3cm x 10cm.

The items are in a very good minus condition overall. General edge and corner rubs, some paper residue along left hand edges of items where they were originally affixed inside the magazine, light browning to borders of Sunlight item, the odd tiny mark to borders, small rub to Lux item, light browning to reverse of items, the odd tiny bump at edges. Please check scans carefully as they help with the condition too.

Please note surface mail or first class inland mail options are always available, please ask for a quote. I always refund any excess postage charges.

I try to be accurate with my descriptions but if you have any questions please contact me. Take a look at my other auctions and ebay shop items for more collectables.
