This double-feature issue gives Vigilante and Eagly their own separate adventures, with each character receiving equal time in the spotlight.
In the Vigilante story, Peacemaker has seemingly disappeared. Adrian Chase immediately assumes the worst and launches his own investigation. Convinced that the crime bosses of Evergreen are responsible, Vigilante sets out to punish anyone who may have harmed his best friend.
There is only one problem: Peacemaker is not missing. He is simply on vacation, and no one has bothered to tell Adrian.
In the second story, Eagly and his human sidekick, Chris Smith, are in need of some rest after battling a group of dangerous enemies. Their outdoor getaway is interrupted when masked criminals take control of their commute and place several innocent people in danger.
Eagly and Peacemaker must once again leap into action, turning what should have been a quiet vacation into another chaotic and violent rescue mission.
Inspired by James Gunn’s Peacemaker series, this issue combines superhero action, absurd comedy, and the unpredictable personalities of Vigilante, Eagly, and Peacemaker.
