A nice original Swedish hunting knife made by the well-known maker P. Holmberg of Eskilstuna, Sweden. This smaller fixed blade model features a stainless steel blade, aluminum guard and pommel, black checkered handle scales, and its original leather sheath with decorative embossing and metal reinforcements.

P. Holmberg knives are sought after by collectors of vintage Scandinavian cutlery and Swedish hunting knives. The company traces its origins back to the late 19th century and later became associated with the famous Eskilstuna knife-making tradition.

Condition

• Original leather sheath included.
• Decorative embossed sheath with metal reinforcements.
• Blade shows scratches and signs of use.
• Handle scales show wear and a visible crack/chip on one side (see photos).
• Oxidation and age-related wear to aluminum fittings.
• Sheath has age-related wear and appears to be missing some rivets.
• Knife fits the sheath properly.
