This is a late 19th-century (roughly 1860s–1870s/early 1880s) salt-glazed stoneware jug made by F.T. Wright & Son in Taunton, Massachusetts.

The pottery operated under this name primarily from around 1866 to the 1870s, with broader production in Taunton from the mid-19th century until about 1904.

This piece is at 11½ inches tall and is consistent with a 1-gallon size (or possibly a 1½-gallon).

Condition:

Various chips to top, blob of glaze on front. Couple of bumps. Discoloration and streaks. No cracks.
