Here is for a lovely small mixing bowl in the very popular "Apple" pattern made by Franciscan (Gladding, McBean & Co.). This hand-decorated bowl has a bright brown "tree branch" rim, a big red apple on two side, green leaves, and a creamy tan body and interior. It dates to the mid-1950s.

The bowl is in good to very good condition. There are no chips or cracks or crazing, but there are a few small brown spots on the interior, particularly along the inner rim edge (visible in the closeup photos). The bowl is about 6 inches wide across the rim, 3 inches across the foot ring, and 4.5 inches high at the side.

The bottom of the bowl has a Franciscan logo and markings for "Franciscan | Made in California U.S.A. | Hand Decorated | Gladding, McBean & Co. | Oven Safe." There is also a small hard-to-read number that I think is 43323.
