This is Charles E. King's "King's Book of Hawaiian Melodies", 196 pages of Hawaiian music. The author has gathered together native melodies and songs from the ancient days. The book is a softcover written and published by Charles E. King, 1948, Honolulu, Hawaii. It is in very good condition with no torn, folded, missing or disfigured pages. Must be a later printing as it is in excellent condition. Somebody wrote, " Defective" on the cover. Why? No clue. It's fine. The binding is tight and secure. The book is 12" x  9-1/8" x 1/2"
