Published in London in 1867, this is the First One Volume edition
of the Longfellow translation of The Divine Comedy by Dante Alighieri, bound in
the original decoration cloth with bevelled edged boards, page edges gilded
all-round, just under 7.5 inches tall, not illustrated.
CONDITION
The covers have some marking and general darkening, some edge
and corner wear and bumps, what looks like a repair to a split to the cloth
along the upper spine edges. Internally webbing slightly showing on the inner
joint though binding firm. A few creased page corners and mild foxing else in
good acceptable condition
