Enhance any bracelet with this spectacular, highly collectible mid century figural moving charm by the legendary New York jeweler Walter Lampl.  Masterfully crafted in solid 14 karat yellow gold during the Retro era (circa 1940s–1950s), this mechanical masterpiece functions as a miniature three dimensional hourglass.
The ornate gold pillar framework houses an intact, clear glass capsule filled with granular natural sand that flows smoothly between the bulbs when inverted. The flat bottom base features a crisp, authentic "WL 14K" block maker's stamp, which was exclusively utilized on Lampl's fine gold boutique lines. This whimsical piece is finished with its original top suspension ring, ready to seamlessly slip onto a vintage charm bracelet or a fine neck chain. Completed with a sturdy top jump ring, perfect for instantly slipping onto a delicate neck chain or adding to a curated vintage charm bracelet.   This is marked 14K on the bottom with WL and weighs 1.52 grams.

Combined Shipping Discounts

I happily combine shipping on multiple purchases, and you're welcome to shop for up to one week before checking out. Please do not pay immediately after your first purchase. Instead, send me a message after your first listing and than another one when you're finished shopping so I can send you a combined invoice with the correct shipping cost.

Combined Shipping

  • Gold jewelry can usually be combined as well, BUT it will depend on the total package value, weight and it's shipping destination .. not by each additional listing.
  • If items are paid for separately without contacting me first, I may not realize they belong together and may ship them separately, resulting in higher shipping costs.
  • All other items are combined based on package weight and your shipping location.

Item Condition

Many of my items come from estates, auctions, and galleries. I sell them in the condition in which I purchased them. Some pieces may benefit from additional cleaning or polishing, but due to the volume of items I list, I typically do not clean them before listing.

Shipping Information

I currently ship only within the United States.  International buyers are welcome through eBay's International Shipping Program, where available.

Shipping Schedule

Monday. Payments received by 3:15 PM Eastern Time usually ship the same day (excluding postal holidays).

Wednesday & Friday. Please pay by 9:15 AM Eastern Time whenever possible. I often need to leave for work by 9:30 AM, so earlier payments have the best chance of same-day shipping.

Tuesday, Thursday & Saturday. I am usually unable to get to the Post Office on these days.

Packaging & Delivery

All orders are shipped through the United States Postal Service using either:

  • USPS Ground Advantage (with tracking), or. USPS Priority Mail (with tracking and insurance for faster delivery).
  • Estimated delivery is typically 3–10 business days, depending on the shipping service selected and your location.

Each item is carefully packaged in a resealable plastic bag, attached to a printed copy of the listing, and securely packed in a padded envelope, cardboard box, or USPS Priority Mail box, depending on the item.
