Vintage Art Deco 1939 Zenith All Steel Tank Case Men’s Watch – Extremely Rare
This vintage Zenith wristwatch is a true collector's piece, featuring a classic and elegant Art Deco design. Made in Switzerland in the late 1930s, the watch has a stepped style solid stainless steel case and case back, paired with a new two-piece leather strap.
The watch is fitted with a newly sourced, fully original black gilt dial. It features beautiful gold-tone hour markers and matching original gold-tone hands (hour and minute), all correct to the watch. Please disregard any previous or typical dial descriptions — this watch now has a correct and very attractive original configuration.
You may find the price slightly high at first glance; however, black and chocolate-colored dials like this were always more valuable than other dial variations, even in their time, and remain highly desirable among collectors today.
The rectangular case is all steel and measures 22 x 40 mm.
It houses a high-grade Zenith 8 3/4F movement, which has been fully serviced (overhauled, oiled, and timed). Please carefully review the movement photos — it is exceptionally clean, with no scratches or visible defects. The watch is running very well, and as shown on the timegrapher, it has an excellent daily deviation of only 0 to - 1 seconds.
The crystal is glass and is in excellent, scratch-free condition.
This timepiece is suitable for both casual and formal wear and will certainly appeal to collectors and enthusiasts alike.
Buy with confidence — you will be very satisfied with this watch.
