Up for auction is a Vintage Large Hanging Metal Brass Oil Lantern. This was my mother-in-law's, so not sure when or where it was purchased. It measures 19" high from the bottom to the top of the hanger, and about 6.5" square. It is in good condition for its age but needs some cleaning and polishing. It is dirty, dusty, tarnished, and has a few minor dings and dents. Some of the metal on the lid are bent as if something heavy was placed on it.  It still has a wick which appears to have never been lit, so not sure if it is functional. There is a knob that adjusts the height of the wick, and it does work. This is being sold as a collectable or as decor. Please look at photos closely. Thanks for looking and happy bidding!!
