Applications

Functional Description

The module converts 4 input channels of 50Gb/s (PAM4) electrical data into 4 CWDM optical signals, which are then multiplexed into a single channel for 200Gb/s (PAM4) optical transmission. On the receiver side, it performs the reverse operation: optically de-multiplexing a 200Gb/s input into 4 CWDM channels and converting them to electrical data. Host FEC is required to support up to 2km fiber transmission.
