An antique 19th century cast brass door knocker in the form of the Lincoln Imp (after the 13th C. grotesque in Lincoln Cathedral) and complete with it's original striking plate. Please note : the knocker requires a new pin fitted
Size : All approx : the striking plate 5 1/4" long x 1 7/8" wide at maximum points, the imp 4" long x 2" wide max, 265gCondition : The knocker requires a new pin (the original iron pin has worn / snapped, so will have to be knocked out and a new pin fitted - last 4 photos), otherwise good antique condition with expected wear / marks / rubbing, unpolished with extensive tarnish - please see all 17 photos below (message me if you require additional photos / info, etc). The watch for illustration only and not included.
