The following devices are described:
• E-Gel® iBase™ Power System is designed to run E-Gel® single-comb, double-comb, CloneWell,™ EX, and SizeSelect™ cassettes. • E-Gel® Safe Imager™ Real-time Transilluminator is designed to view gels run on the iBase™ Power System that use the SYBR® Safe DNA gel stain or E-Gel® EX, and SizeSelect™ gels that use a proprietary blue-light excitable fluorescent nucleic acid stain. Other blue blue-light excitable stains visible with the E-Gel® Safe Imager™ Transilluminator include SYBR® Gold, SYBR® Green I and II, SYPRO® Ruby, SYPRO® Orange, and Coomassie Fluor™ Orange. Together, these systems form an integrated system for running and viewing SYBR® Safe stained E-Gel® agarose gels.
