Antique Gillette ABC Pocket Edition Old Type double edge safety razor set with ornate floral handle and original silver-tone travel case.

Early British Old Type example featuring the classic decorative ABC pattern handle with beautiful aged dark patina. The razor retains strong ornamental detail throughout the handle. The comb baseplate bears a small stamped “G” mark instead of the later large Gillette logo, characteristic of some early versions.

Original Pocket Edition metal case remains in very good condition with attractive natural patina and preserved silver-tone finish. Interior velvet lining is clean and well preserved with original compartments for the razor and blade holder still intact. Original blade container is included.

The inside lid features the early international Gillette patent panel listing patent dates for multiple countries, typical of early 20th century Pocket Edition sets.

Condition:

Natural aged patina and signs of age/use throughout. One tooth on the comb has a slight bend visible in the photos. No aggressive polishing. Hinges and case structure remain solid. Interior velvet remains in good condition with rich original color.
