Daktarin Antifungal Powder contains miconazole nitrate 2%, an effective treatment for fungal and certain bacterial skin infections.
It works by destroying the fungi and bacteria that cause infection while helping keep the affected area dry and protected.
Daktarin powder is suitable for:
Athlete’s foot (tinea pedis)
Fungal skin infections
Infected nappy rash
Sweat rash and skin irritation
Preventing recurrence of fungal infections
Suitable for adults and children
Clean and dry the affected area thoroughly
Apply a thin layer of powder twice daily (morning and evening)
Continue treatment for at least 2 weeks after symptoms disappear to prevent recurrence
Can also be applied inside socks and shoes to help prevent reinfection
Daktarin is generally well tolerated. Some people may experience:
Mild skin irritation
Burning or itching at the application site
Stop use and seek medical advice if you experience:
Severe irritation
Signs of an allergic reaction (rash, swelling)
For external use only
Avoid contact with eyes
Do not inhale the powder
Do not use if allergic to miconazole or any ingredients
