2013 skoda rapid 1.6tdi 

I Purchased the car on the 11 July got extremely ripped of on the test drive the car was fine ran lovely and gears were fine didn't personally test drive the car as I didn't have insurance seller drove the car with me in the passenger seat I purchased the car and paid for it hoped in and drove it got to the first junction and lost 1st and 2nd gear 🤦 i had numerous people tell me this is common for these and requires a new gear selector even had a mechanic test drive it and he said this was the problem i had the car recovered back to my address on a recovery truck it was driven on and of the recovery truck and parked at my address I went to the car the following day and it now wont start just spinning over decided rather than put any more money into the car im just going to sell it and hopefully not loose to much money on it as I purchased it as my first car to take my kids out in the summer holidays the car is in fantastic condition inside and out for a vehicle of this age but does have a few small marks ect as to be the mileage is high as it was a taxi at somepoint so will of definitely been looked after it has some history and bills with it and 2 keys £35 a year road tax 🙂 i only currently have the green slip but logbook will be changed over to the buyer once it arrives will more than likely be an easy fix for someone but its the final nail in the coffin for me unfortunately
