Usage Instructions:
1๏ธโฃ Place block-out spacers on the Locator abutment heads.
2๏ธโฃ Position denture cap with integrated black processing cap onto the Locator abutments.
3๏ธโฃ Add additional block-out spacers if necessary until no gap appears between female component, spacer, and gum tissue.
๐ง Locator Core Tool
The Locator Core Tool combines multiple functions into one professional overdenture attachment instrument.
REMOVAL
The male removal tip features a pointed end designed to grip and remove retention inserts from the metal housing incorporated into overdentures.
INSERTION
After removing the tip section, the central cylindrical end is designed for inserting new retention inserts into the metal housing.
SCREWING
The driver end functions as an abutment carrier and hand driver for placing and fixing the locator abutment onto the implant.
๐ ๏ธ How To Use
1. Remove Existing Male Insert
Loosen the Removal End of the Core Tool until a visible gap appears between the removal tool and seating tool.
Insert the removal tip into the denture assembly and push directly into the male insert.
Tilt the tool so the sharp edge grips the male insert, then pull it out from the denture cap.
2. Release Removed Insert
Point the tool downward and away from you.
Tighten the Removal Tool clockwise back onto the Core Tool to disengage the removed male insert.
3. Insert New Male Cap
Separate the removal tool section from the Core Tool.
Use the seating tool end to place a new male insert into the empty denture cap.
