An absolute collector's dream. Up for sale is a beautiful, highly collectible vintage Leica M3 Chrome Rangefinder Film Camera (Body SN: 742713) paired with the legendary Ernst Leitz GmbH Wetzlar Summicron f=5cm 1:2 (50mm f/2) Prime Lens (Lens SN: 1216772).
Both the camera body and the lens date back to circa 1954-1955, making this an authentic, period-correct dream setup. Cosmetically, the kit is in phenomenal shape for its age. The lens glass looks remarkably clean with beautiful coatings, and the chrome finishes on both the body and lens are exceptionally well-preserved. Included is the original silver-tone metal Leica front lens cap.
