Beriemung / Kopfspinne ( zum anklipsen des Schweißbandes ) wurde repariert ( s. Fotos 9 - 11, vernietung der A-Washer )!

Fotos 17 bis 19 zeigen Angehörige der 552nd MP Co. 2nd Field Force!

Viele Innenhelme wurden nach Rückkehr aus Vietnam ( 1972 / 73 ) Instandgesetzt / repariert und nach deaktivierung einiger Einheiten eingelagert! Nur wenige wurden danach weiterhin benutzt da bei Einsätzen in Kampfgebieten nur noch der PASGT Kevlarhelm genutzt wurde ( Bilder 14 - 16 Musterbilder: Zustand nach Einsatz bei hoher Luftfeuchtigkeit z.B. in Vietnam / oft rostige Metallteile und beschädigtes Webbingmaterial im Liner )!

After returning from Vietnam most of the Liners gets repaired and deposed after deactivation of some units! The Army used in Combat only the PASGT Helmet!
