About Audio/Video Plus Provenance Labels
This item includes the original silver foil Audio/Video Plus VOID security sticker. This sticker was applied outside the factory shrinkwrap as an anti‑piracy measure to prevent watch‑and‑return fraud. It is not a reseal, rental mark, or sign of tampering. All Video Sanctum inventory was acquired directly from the Audio/Video Plus warehouse in 2015 and includes authentic NOS retail stock. These silver labels are provenance of originating from The Audio/Video Plus Collection, a recognized pedigree by CGC Grading Co.
About The Audio/Video Plus Collection
Audio/Video Plus was Houston's first and longest running independent retail and rental video store that opened in 1979 and remained in continuous operation through October 2012 after building one of the largest video rental libraries in the country with more than 60K titles at the time of closing. Video Sanctum acquired the store's remaining retail and rental inventory in 2015 and has managed the The Audio/Video Plus Collection for more than a decade. In addition to NOS VHS and Betamax inventory, the collection also includes print ephemera, video store trade and merchandising archives, posters, standees and other content spanning the store's 33-year history.
