This is a Japanese cast bronze flower vase (kaki) featuring an archaic design. The inner bottom surface bears an incised artisan signature.

The vessel is crafted from heavy bronze with a mottled brown and golden-patinated textured surface. It features five distinct pointed spikes distributed around the shoulder and a high openwork (sukashi) base pierced with multiple circular holes.

The item exhibits signs of aging and historical use.
