Offered here is an original 1901 letterhead from The Ophir Consolidated Mines Company, Mines and Mill in Ophir and Office in Telluride Colorado. Letter sent to the Rio Grande Southern Railroad regarding a hoped for Railroad Pass for "...a poor girl who has been working here"...good for Telluride to Pueblo, Colorado. Stamped as received by the RGS Railroad. The RGS Railroad ran on narrow gauge rail from Ridgway to Durango, Colorado, with the town of Ophir located on the other side of the ridge south of Telluride. Great display piece of Ophir, Telluride and RGS Railroad history. Thanks for looking!
