Professional Application Guide:

  1. Surface Preparation: Ensure timber edges and masonry walls are clean, structurally stable, and entirely free from saw dust, wood shavings, wax, grease, or old polish.
  2. Cartridge Prep: Cut the top thread of the cartridge dome, attach the nozzle, and trim it at a 45-degree angle to create a bead wide enough to span the gap.
  3. Application: Extrude firmly into the joint using a standard applicator gun. Ensure the sealant makes total contact with both sides of the gap to guarantee structural flexibility.
  4. Finishing & Tooling: Smooth the joint within **5 to 10 minutes** using a damp spatula, caulking tool, or wet finger. Excess material can be wiped up immediately with a wet cloth.
  5. Varnishing/Painting: Allow a minimum of **12 to 24 hours** to fully cure through before attempting to sand, paint, or apply floor varnish coatings.

Material Limitation Disclaimer: Bond It Lami-Mate is an acrylic-based gap filler designed for low-movement internal joints. It is **not** a pure silicone or polyurethane adhesive, and should not be used in external areas subject to standing surface water or continuous weather exposure.
