A striking vintage mid-century art glass vase featuring a deep cobalt blue exterior over an opaque white cased interior, finished with a substantial clear glass base.

This elegant hourglass form is characteristic of Scandinavian art glass from the mid-20th century and has an impressive weight of almost 2kg, reflecting its high-quality manufacture. The polished finish and vibrant blue colouring make it an eye-catching decorative statement piece.

Although unsigned, it was acquired alongside mid century Scandinavian glass including Johansfors pieces and has a comparable quality and feel. This is not a cheap glass by any means and has been very well cared for over the years!

Condition

Excellent vintage condition with no chips or cracks. There are only light age-related surface scratches consistent with careful use. Internally very clean with no signs of use.
