For sale is an authentic antique White Star-Dominion Line cigarette tin, custom made as a premium passenger souvenir for their Canadian transatlantic services.
This pocket tin dates to the Titanic era (circa 1909–1911). The inside lid features brilliant gold lithographed text listing four historic liners on the Liverpool-Quebec-Montreal routes: the Laurentic, Megantic, Teutonic, and Canada. Notably, the Laurentic and Megantic served as the mechanical blueprints for the Olympic and Titanic.
Condition Details:
- The inside text panel is crisp, clean, and highly readable.
- There is no rust on the inside tray.
- The original hinge is sturdy and opens and closes smoothly.
- The underside of the tin features a built-in ribbed match striker base with clean, usable ridges.
- The exterior shows normal surface scratches, paint wear, and age-related patina, including a few very minor spots of insignificant surface rust on the back. There are no major dents.

Because of this bright lighting, the back of the tin looks a bit brighter in the photos and appears "less golden" and more muted in real-life lighting.
