The DAIWA SEABORG G1800M-RJ (2024 model) represents the next evolution of electric reels, with continuous advancements in performance and technology.
Equipped with the newly developed MEGATORQUE-G motor, it generates approximately twice the torque of the previous 17 SEABORG 1200MJ, delivering outstanding winding power.
With a maximum drag force of 50 kg, it is capable of firmly controlling even powerful large game fish without giving them the advantage.
The large line capacity, supporting up to PE #10 / 1,200 m, provides greater flexibility and security for deep-sea fishing applications.
This model is also equipped with “Remote JOG” technology, allowing the reel to be operated with just a thumb, similar to a compact electric reel. It enables:
• Remote winding start and stop
• Remote depth monitoring
• Easier and more intuitive operation even when positioned away from the reel
