Replacement Power Button (ON/OFF switch)

Fitting Instructions/ Notes:

Note you must disassemble the Garmin to install this from the inside. You will need a Torx #5 and a Phillips #0 screwdriver. There is also a delicate ribbon cable so take extra care not to damage this when fitting - this repair is done at your own risk.

If the outer rubber housing has become brittle over time, some cracking or flaking may occur during disassembly. This is typically cosmetic and does not affect functionality.

Once installed, the replacement button provides direct access to the internal switch. Avoid pressing too hard, as excessive force could damage the underlying electronic button on the circuit board.

This is a hard plastic button, and not rubber like the original, and hence you are likely to lose the waterproof features of the original fitting. 3rd party item (not official Garmin)

But - you should be able to get your unit up and running again at a very cheap cost!

And finally, hopefully its obvious, but this listing is for the replacement button only - the main Garmin unit is NOT included.
