A superb original set of 9 vintage black & white photographs dating to the 1940s, showing dramatic coastal and harbour scenes in Hong Kong during the WWII period.

These are genuine period prints, not modern reproductions. Each photograph measures approx. 4" x 2" and is printed on matte photographic paper typical of the era. The images appear to have been taken by the same photographer, likely from a single roll of film, forming a cohesive and visually striking series.

The photographs capture waves crashing along the seawall and shoreline, with distant views of buildings and the waterfront. A great atmospheric set reflecting Hong Kong during the wartime years.
