Product Overview
- The small auger (also known as an earth auger, soil drill, or drill) is one of the most commonly used and efficient accessories for small excavators. It is widely used in operations such as tree planting, pole erection, and pile foundation drilling. It greatly expands the application range of excavators and is particularly suitable for users in fields such as landscaping, municipal engineering, and power engineering. With proper selection, safe operation, and regular maintenance, it can become your most effective "hole-drilling tool."
Core Features
- The 200mm auger is perfectly compatible with small excavators and offers high versatility. It offers high efficiency and labor-saving features, extreme working efficiency, high precision, excellent hole quality, and a compact structure, making it highly compatible with small excavators.
Applications
- Landscaping and tree planting: Digging tree pits for planting large trees and saplings.
- Municipal engineering: Installing base holes for streetlight poles, traffic signs, and signal poles.
- Construction: Installing foundation pile holes for small buildings and fence posts.
- Agriculture: Drilling holes for orchard posts and grape trellis posts. Power and Telecommunications: Drilling holes for buried utility and communication poles.
Please note (very important!)
- Pre-operation survey: Always check for underground electrical cables, fiber optic cables, gas pipelines, or water pipes. Safety first!
- Secure positioning: Park the excavator on flat, firm ground and lower the dozer blade for increased stability.
- Vertical alignment: Before drilling, ensure the drill rod is perpendicular to the ground.
- "Floating pressure" operation: Avoid excessive arm force when drilling downward. Allow the drill bit's self-reinforcing composite teeth to naturally penetrate the hole. Utilizing the "floating" feature provides optimal results. Excessive downward pressure can damage the drill bit, drill rod, and even the excavator.
- Stage-by-stage drilling: After drilling to a certain depth (especially in clay soils), occasionally lift the drill bit a short distance to allow the spiral blades to remove soil removed, preventing the drill bit from being buried.
- Regular maintenance: Lubricate the drill rod connecting pins, hydraulic motor bearings, and other parts regularly. Check the drill bit's alloy teeth for wear and replace them promptly.
